The Predator is out next weekend and there is a lot of curiosity about the film's quality.

Some people have been looking forward to the movie, while others have not been so kind to the film so far.

Well now we have some sort of indication if the film is good or not as the first reviews have now been posted online.

It's still very early, but the Rotten Tomatoes rating for The Predator so far is 63% indicating the film is getting mixed reactions from critics. 16 reviews have been collected so far with 10 positive reviews and 6 negative reviews posted.

The average score for the film is 6/10 meaning most reviewers would have given it a rating of 3/5 stars. This is not a bad rating, but it also shows that the movie might not be universally loved either.

From the reviews I have seen so far, many people like the majority of the film.

They seem to like the action and humor that director Shane Black uses. Not to mention the cast is said to be likable as well.

The main thing that is holding the film back sounds like the ending which went through a lot of reshoots.

IGN says in their review that the ending was rushed and the last 30 minutes of the film has very bad CGI.

Mr H Reviews on YouTube however went one further and totally hated the film because of the ending that it showed.

He did not like how it set up for a sequel and the ending ruined what was a good movie in his opinion.

Anyway, you can look at the synopsis for the film posted down below.

"From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black's explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe's most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

The Predator releases in North America on September 14th, 2018. The film is projected to earn around $30 million in its opening weekend.
