Goku and Vegeta have pretty much reached their full potential in the last season of Dragon Ball Super. Goku attained Ultra Instinct while Vegeta reached a new Super Saiyan level of his own.

Despite facing Jiren who is one of the Universe's most powerful characters in the Dragon Ball franchise, it sounds like creator Akira Toriyama is wanting to make Broly even stronger thn Jiren! If that's the case, how the heck can Goku and Vegeta beat him?

Well some new rumor has surfaced this week that might be a clue to how Goku and Vegeta beat Broly in the new Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie. The clue came from someone datamining the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 video game.

As reported by Anime Mojo, Broly might be appearing as future DLC in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 video game. He's not the only character that was found because people also came across Gogeta's name too!

If you have never heard of Gogeta, he's the fusion dance result of Goku and Vegeta merging into one being. This is different from the Vegito character that comes out when they fuse using Potara earrings.

This is significant because Gogeta's only apperance came from a non-canon Dragon Ball Z animated movie that came out several years ago. If Gogeta appears in Dragon Ball Super: Broly, this means the character will finally be official canon!

For now, just take this news as a rumor as nothing has been confirmed as of yet. The Dragon Ball Super. Broly movie comes out in Japan this December with a Western release in January 2019.
