The CW's "Legends of Tomorrow" carries on plundering through time.

They've got a list of bad guys to pursue or be aware of but they'll never expect their next foes. This time they're up against zombie soldiers in "Abominations," the fourth episode of the second season.

A time aberration in 1863 lands the team into the middle of the Civil War where they'll have to fight against Confederate soldiers who have been turned into zombies. Jax and Amaya's mission requires them to go to a plantation.

Ray continues to struggle with his contribution to the team now that his suit is gone. The hard decisions Sara has to make as leader is beginning to weigh on her.

A time traveler sends a distress signal as he falls out of the time stream. He lands in Mississippi. The locals find him just as he starts turning into a zombie. Jax and Stein are listening to Barry's message again.

They're still debating whether they should inform the rest of the team or not. Sara calls them into the library She has to bench Ray.

Stein tries to do the same for Jax but he reassures him that he'll be okay.

Ray's really taken on this Team Mom role, he even packed them lunches. They find the pod easily, with no one inside, Mick touches it.

As they're about to leave they hear a man yelling for help. Amaya ignores the rule of not interfering with history and goes to save him. They get the soldiers off of his back but they are quick to return because they're zombies. The man is gravely injured. He was carrying important information for the Union soldiers.TX-90 is a bioweapon that Time Pirate stole and the reason for the zombies.

Mick collapses on the bridge, he's been bitten. Ray's going to have to figure out a cure. Jax realizes that the information is vital.

He volunteers himself and Amaya to continue his mission. Nate and Sara go to warn the Union soldiers about the zombies. Jax and Amaya are forced to watch a slave be whipped because they can't risk blowing their covers.

Ray's cure ends up speeding the virus up and Gideon puts the ship on lockdown. Jax leaves Amaya outside while he sneaks in because he doesn't trust her to stick to the job. Stein has a fear of zombies but the threat of two zombies is enough to get him to agree to help. When they reopen the infirmary they find Mick isn't inside anymore.

Jax hasn't been able to find the paper. As he's looking for another room, he bumps into a white lady and apologizes to her directly.

Jax gets chained in the stable without his comms. Sara tries to call Ray and Stein for help with the zombies but they've been trapped in a room by zombie Mick. Amaya is just plain missing.

She knocks him out and frees everyone. Before they can escape, Jax notices a herd of zombies coming towards them.

Jax and another man make a run to try to find the plans as the zombies attack the house. Amaya leads the rest to safety. Ray sneaks into the med bay but Mick is already behind him. Sara figured out that the zombies were attracted to light.

She sends Nate out with light to guide them away. Jax torches the bottom floor of the house before the zombies can make it any further.

Mick ends up gifting him with Leonard's cold gun. Stein goes to check on Jax but he seems to be doing alright.

"Abominations" was an alright episode of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow." It's always nice to see some more team bonding, especially with the two new members.
