Funimation has announced in a press release that the character of Goku will be at the 92nd Macy's Thanksgiving parade happening later this month in New York City.

The version of the character appearing at the parade is when Goku turns into the Super Saiyan Blue form.

Goku's appearance at the parade is being done to hype up the release of Dragon Ball Super: Broly which will be out in North American cinemas in January 2019.

Find out more details about the big Goku balloon from the press release below.

"Given the enormous scale of the character’s transformation into balloon, Goku will be fittingly depicted in his godly Super Saiyan Blue form which was first introduced in the hit anime film “Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’” as SSGSS. At 70 feet wide, 36 feet wide, and 56 feet tall, the giant character helium balloon of Goku features cyan colored hair and eyes as well as his signature orange jump suit along with blue sash and boots. This gigantic Goku will soar over the streets of New York City guided by more than 100 balloon handlers during the Parade."

The Super Saiyan Blue form is also called Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, but it's usually shortened to just SSGSS. This form has also been achieved by Vegeta. Sadly though, Goku is the only Dragon Ball character making an appearance at this parade.
