Marvel Is Already Thinking About Making A Black Panther 2 Movie

Even though the first Black Panther movie just came out last month, Marvel Studios is already planning for a bright future for the superhero. There will be a Black Panther 2, although the full details are yet to be finalized yet.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was recently interviewed by Entertainment Weekly where he commented on the progress they have made regarding Black Panther 2. You can read his interview comments below.

"Nothing specific to reveal, other than to say we absolutely will do that. One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two. There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one".

Black Panther could overtake Iron Man 3 to be the highest grossing solo film in the MCU as it has been lighting up the worldwide Box Office on fire at the moment.

The film lives up to the hype as it's one of the best films in the entire MCU portfolio.

That being said, Black Panther 2 might not be out until the year 2020 at the earliest. This is because the main character will be returning in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 releasing in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

I'm hoping Marvel Studios does not rush to make a sequel because good movies usually take time to develop.

However, Marvel Studios will have to make a sequel since there is now a newfound interest in the Black Panther character thanks to his excellent debut film.
