First Look At Joaquin Phoenix's Joker With Full Makeup

As you might know already, Warner Bros is working on a new Joker movie that explores the clown's origins and how he turns into a psychotic criminal. Well now we have first footage of Joaquin Phoenix in full Joker makeup.

Test footage of Joaquin Phoenix in Joker makeup was revealed earlier today on the official Warner Bros Twitter page. It first shows Joaquin Phoenix without the makeup =, but then he slowly turns into the maniacal clown.

It's worth mentioning that this might not even be the Joker's final look in the movie.

Many people pointed out that this could be his first appearance when Joker is still a failing comedian. Later on in the movie, we might finally see his final form.

That being said, reception online for the new Joker look has mostly been very positive. People seem to like this new look of the Joker better than Jared Leto's version which first appeared in Suicide Squad two years ago.

The new Joker movie is an origin story that takes place in its own universe separate from the DCEU. It will follow a character named Arthur Fleck and will show how he first becomes the Joker character in the first place.

This will be the second time in movie history that the identity of Joker has been revealed. The first Batman movie starring Jack Nicholson introduced us to a gangster named Jack Napier who eventually became the Clown Prince of Crime.

Anyway, you can look at the first test footage from The Joker movie posted down below. The movie stars Joaquin Phoenix as Joker/Arthur Fleck and will be directed by Todd Phillips.
