'Suicide Squad' Continues To Dominate The Box Office For A Third Week

The summer blockbuster Suicide Squad proves that even bad reviews from critics don't matter as long as the hype is there and the characters that viewers want to see exist.

They have now topped the global and domestic box office for a third week.

"'Suicide Squad,' the Warner Bros./DC Comics anti-superhero film, easily crosses the $500 million mark worldwide with $572.7 million earned through this weekend," according to comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian.

"Other notable entries on the chart include the $10.7 million international debut for Paramount's remake of the epic 'Ben-Hur' and $6.5 million earned in the international territories for another newcomer, Warner Bros.' comedy 'War Dogs.'"

In the U.S. Seth Rogen's Sausage Party film raked in a pretty big weekend taking the number two spot on the box office list.
