Avengers 4 Release Date May Have Been Changed In North America

As you might know already, the release date for Avengers: Infinity War was changed in North America in order for the film to release simultaneously around the world.

This was done to prevent spoilers from leaking to those who have not seen the movie yet.

Well according to ComicBookMovie.com, the release date for Avengers 4 might be changing in North America too when it's out next year.

The current release date for the film is May 4th, 2019, but a recent IMAX schedule says the movie should be out in the month of April 2019 instead.

The UK release date for the film is April 26th, 2019 and this might be the same release date now for North Americans.

Infinity War was pushed up to April 27th, 2018 and this proved to be a smart move from Disney and Marvel Studios.

The release date change for Infinity War allowed the film to gross over $258.2 million in its opening weekend in North America.

This total set a new opening weekend record since it beat the $248 million opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens back in 2015.

The simultaneous worldwide release date also managed to make Infinity War have a global opening of $630 million setting yet another record that will prove to be hard to beat in the years to come.

Eventually the film grossed over $2 billion in its lifetime making it only the fourth film in history to reach that benchmark.
