Even though the WWE is earning lots of money from TV rights fees and Saudi Arabia, this does not mean that the company is bulletproof.

This week is a blow because the company received one of the lowest ratings in history with its flapship Monday Night Raw TV show.

As reported by Showbuzz Daily (via NoDQ.com) WWE Raw this week only averaged 2.350 million viewers. This is down from the 2.672 million viewers it got last week.

The first hour drew 2.493 million viewers, the second hour drew 2.275 million viewers with the third hour at only 2.281 million viewers.

To put this in perspective, these numbers are usually what WWE sees on a Tuesday night with Smackdown Live and not for Raw.

On the same date last year, WWE Raw averaged 2.91 million viewers so there is a decline. The only major competition Raw faced this week was the usual NFL Football game on ESPN.

The TV ratings may have dropped due to WWE booking the same matches every week on Raw featuring the same WWE wrestlers. Fans are getting tired of seeing all of the rematches and lackluster storylines.

Fans have wanted Raw to go back to two hours long, but this is unlikely since three hours gives the company more ad revenue.

It will be interesting to see if WWE tries to improve Raw next week considering how low it rated this week!

Hopefully something changes since WWE Raw has been kind of boring lately. It's hard to watch three hours of Raw every week if the same matches are happening all of the time!
