After getting a final look at the Suicide Squad film in the final official trailer, just weeks before the debut, it looks like Suicide Squad may live up to all of the hype surrounding the film.

That being said, one of the biggest aspects of the film that will be paid the most attention is Jared Leto's role as the Joker.

With so many amazing actors perfectly capturing the cynical and sinister nature of the Joker, Leto has plenty of work cut out for him. The Joker we are seeing doesn't visually add up to the one we know from films pass.

However, looks can be all too deceiving.

The only way fans will be able to get over the tattooed version of the Joker is with a stellar performance from Leto, which we all know he is capable of from his previous works.

From what we have seen in the trailer, Margot Robbie's portrayal of Harley Quinn is spot on and by now everyone has gotten over her new look.

We all have faith in Will Smith's ability to completely own the Deadshot role, as well as Jay Hernandez's ability to hone in all of the quirks of El Diablo.

The rest of the cast including Joel Kinnaman seems to be carrying out their role in stunning proportion according to the trailers. It's very much possible that Suicide Squad could be the equivalent of Deadpool for DC, especially after the backlash that came following the Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice film, which received terrible reviews from fans and critics.

All in all it's going to be quite a film to look forward to and the fans will absolutely share their thoughts when the time comes.

In the meantime, we sit and wait until August 5, when we all get to judge whether Suicide Squad will save DC.
