Rumor: Henry Cavill Superman Could Be Flying To The Shazam Movie

Henry Cavill's turn as Superman in the Justice League movie was well received that we might see the character sooner rather than later in an upcoming DCEU film.

The next time we might see the character is in the Shazam movie coming out in 2019.

This rumor comes from an exclusive report from Revenge of the Fans website who has heard from a reliable source that Superman will be appearing in Shazam which releases on April 5th, 2019.

The main reason the film is adding Superman is because Warner Bros is aware of the positive reception people had with Henry Cavill in the Justice League movie.

Sure the Justice League movie itself had lots of critics, but everyone loved how Superman was portrayed.

Another reason why the Man of Steel is being added to Shazam is because other films won't be released anytime soon.

Man of Steel 2 is still in the early planning phases while Black Adam hasn't made much progress yet thanks to Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson being too busy working on other movies instead.

Shazam will start filming later this year so we should hear more official details very soon. Zachary Levi plays Shazam and he will be up against Doctor Sivana who is being played by Mark Strong.

Asher Angel plays the kid version of Billy Batson and could be the character that meets Superman if this rumor ends up being true.

Hopefully Warner Bros spills all of the beans to us at the 2018 Comic Con event in San Diego, California.

For now, the next DCEU movie to look forward to is Aquaman which is out in December 2018. Warner Bros needs the movie to be a success as Justice League sadly underperformed at the Box Office last year.
