Walt Disney Pictures Bringing Prince Charming to Life

Live-action revisions of Disney classics has become the trend of the year with the new Cinderella movie and the announcement of a live-action Beauty and the Beast.
Now, Disney has announced that it will be brining Prince Charming into the live world.
The script for the movie has been picked up by Matt Fogel.
Fogel worked on the script for "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son." He's also been working on a project set up by Disney called "Bob: The Musical." Mandeville Films/TV, who is producing the live-action "Beauty and the Beast," will have a hand in the making of the movie in the form of producers David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman.
Tripp Vinson is on board to produce as well.
Disney's Prince Charming character doesn't have a single movie for which he's known for. He's more of an idea than a solid character.
The title is most commonly used in reference for the princes in "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella." It will be interesting which parts of the idea translates over into the firm characterization.
Recently, the Prince Charming ideal has been brought to screen in two incarnations, Cinderella's Prince and Rapunzel's Prince, in "Into the Woods." Richard Madden brought a new twist to the character in the 2015 revision of "Cinderella." There's no set release date for the movie as of yet.
