The first 'DOOM' movie was a flop because it was bad despite starring some recognizable names. Karl Urban was the main lead while a young Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was cast as the main villain, but the movie still sucked.

Despite the flop of the 2005 'DOOM' movie, it appears as if Universal Pictures wants to have another go at a movie based on the popular video game franchise.

It sounds like it will be a reboot so Urban and Johnson might not be appearing.

This news was actually confirmed by actress Nina Bergman over on her official Twitter page. You can read what she had to say on the matter down below.

"Wow I’m doing the next “Doom” movie w Universal Pictures! I just signed all the paperwork💃🏼I get to go back to Bulgaria again and work with some of my favorite people💕This movie w a super cool Director AND my new record coming out, I feel like the luckiest girl in the world"

In a recent Twitter reply to a fan, Bergman confirms that this new movie has a much better script compared to the original 2005 flop. As of this moment, no other details have been revealed about the movie.

DOOM is a fun game where you blast monsters on the planet of Mars. It should be a fun movie, but the 2005 film made it literally dark and boring.

Hopefully this new version of the film has a bigger budget so we can actually see what is happening on the screen.

The only cool thing about the 2005 movie was the first-person camera that paid a homage to the video games.
