Keanu Reeves Has A Role In Toy Story 4

While recognizable names such as Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are returning to play Woody and Buzz respectively in Toy Story 4, the movie will also introduce new toys and actors into the fray.

Tim Allen has now revealed that Keanu Reeves has a mystery role in the new movie.

Tim Allen talked about Keanu Reeves' involvement in Toy Story during an interview with Jimmy Fallon (via Heroic Hollywood). You can read his comments on the matter posted down below.

“Keanu Reeves has got a great part. Actually, a little inside story, even he said — gentle, wonderful guy that he is — ‘This sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear.’ And his character does have an edge to that. And the guy said, ‘So we calmed him down a little bit,’ and they reminded me his toy is only that big.”

Toy Story 4 is a sequel to Toy Story 3 which came out back in 2010. The toys all have a new owner by the name of Bonnie. A small synopsis for the movie can be seen below.

"Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy."

Toy Story 4 will be released in North America on June 21st, 2019.
