The first Aquaman movie is not even out yet, but star Jason Momoa is already thinking about making a sequel. Jason Momoa even pitched some ideas to Warner Bros and they are liking his ideas thus far.

Jason Momoa expressed his interest in making Aquaman 2 during an interview he had with Total Film magazine (via SYFY WIRE). You can read what he had to say about it down below.

"Even when we were shooting Aquaman, I have the opening of Aquaman 2 ready. I went in and pitched it to [producer Peter] Safran, and I pitched it to [Warner Bros. chairman] Toby Emmerich. They loved it. It’s awesome…But yeah, I have plans for Aquaman 2."

Bear in mind, this is not official confirmation that an Aquaman sequel is currently in the works. Warner Bros might want to wait until the first Aquaman movie is out before they go and plan anything for the future.

Warner Bros is hoping Aquaman will be a success at the Box Office since it's releasing this December. There's no big Star Wars movie his year, so Warner Bros has a chance to rule the Box Office this Holiday.

Warner Bros and DC have had to rethink their strategy for future films after the first Justice League movie under-performed at the Box Office last year. Hopefully Aquaman is a success so we can see an Aquaman 2!

The first Aquaman movie will be released in North America on December 21st, 2018. The movie will be out slightly earlier in other countries so check out for local listings.
