Scottish band Chvrches have released their first new song in over two years and it's called 'Get Out'.

Despite the name of the song, it does not have to do anything with the recently released Jordan Peele directed movie of the same name.

Fans don't need to worry because it literally sounds like the band is sticking to its roots.

The song 'Get Out' has the same vibe as the band's previous two albums so thankfully they have not changed their sound like other bands usually do.

I first discovered Chvrches when the song 'The Mother We Share' was featured in the video game Forza Horizon 2.

Since 2014, I instantly became a fan of the band and even managed to see them live when they visited Auckland, New Zealand a few years ago.

The song Get Out will be in the band's third album called 'Love is Dead'.

The band released the song on their official YouTube VEVO channel and the song has already amassed over 78,000 views from fans around the world as of time of writing.

Another helpful thing that Chvrches did is upload the song lyrics in the descriptions so you can already sing along to 'Get Out' if you want to.

There's still no definite release date for the new album 'Love is Dead' but it should be out sometime later this year.

We can be sure the band will release even more songs in 2018 plus they might also go on tour to support the new album.

When the album comes out, we will try our best to give you guys our review of it once we have it in our hands.

Anyway, you can listen to their new song in the video posted down below. Are you a fan of the song or not?
