Academy Awards 2018: The Shape of Water Wins Best Picture And Director

The Academy Awards 2018 was held last night and it was a big night for Guillermo del Toro. His movie The Shape of Water took out the biggest awards of Best Picture and Best Director. 

Unlike last year, the 2018 Academy Awards did not end with the wrong winner being announced. The night was a unique one with NBA star Kobe Bryant winning his first Oscar for his short animated film called 'Dear Basketball'.

The Shape of Water is a unique winner since it's an original story not based on a book or historical event.

It's also great to see Dunkirk winning in the technical categories as that film was awesome to watch in IMAX.
