Despite new releases such as Happytime Murders coming out this week, Crazy Rich Asians continues to be the top movie to watch this week.

The well received romantic comedy is number 1 this weekend in North America for a second week in a row.

As reported by Box Office Pro, Crazy Rich Asians has a second weekend intake of an estimated $25 million. This is very impressive because the movie got $26.5 million in its first weekend so it only dipped 5%!

This is one of the smallest drops for a wide release movie and this should be good news for Warner Bros.

The amount of money the movie is getting is already forcing the studio to get production on a sequel as soon as possible.

The full North American gross of Crazy Rich Asians is now $76.8 million and it should gross over $100 million domestically by the end of its run.

Many movie goers are watching the movie more than once and word of mouth continues to be very strong!

Elsewhere at the Box Office, Happytime Murders only earned an estimated $10 million this weekend which is kind of low even though it's an R rated Muppet comedy.

The movie did not even beat The Meg which grossed $13 million in its third weekend out in cinemas.

Happytime Murders might not get much more money because word of mouth for the movie is very poor. It only has a 22% rating over on Rotten Tomatoes while the Cinemascore is an abysmal "C-"...

In overseas news, it has been reported that Ant-Man and the Wasp earned a giant $68 million in its opening weekend over in China.

The big opening means the movie has grossed $544 million worldwide surpassing the $519.3 million total that the first Ant-Man movie got.
