After three long years, Taylor Swift is finally going to release some new material. The female pop singer announced the name and release date for her new album across all of her social media pages today.

The new Taylor Swift album is being called 'reputation' and it will be out on November 10th, 2017. This will be her sixth album released to date.

We may not have to wait long to listen to the first single because it will be dropping sometime later this week. To be more exact, it's dropping this Thursday.

We're not sure what the name of the single will be yet, but it will be great to hear what it sounds like.

Swift started out solely as a young country singer in her early years. After that, she incorporated both country and pop into her songs.

However, the 2014 album 1989 is when her image truly changed and so did her music. 1989 had a more mainstream pop music sound to it.

This kind of disappointed country music fans, but it turned out to be a success. 1989 sold really well and many of her singles garnered millions upon millions of views on YouTube.

It's possible 'reputation' might follow in the same vein. Not to mention the album could also be streamable via Spotify. For three years, 1989 and other Taylor Swift albums were not on Spotify as the artist felt musicians should get paid more.

However, her stance changed earlier this year and now all of her back catalog is back on Spotify.

We will give you a review of the first single when it drops later this week. Hopefully it's as good as her previous work!
