American music superstar Taylor Swift has announced that she is due to release a brand new album later this year. Alongside her announcement, she also released her second single that will be off the new album.

Instead of releasing in the Fall, the new album called "Lover" will be released worldwide on August 23rd, 2019. It will be released during the Summer time in the Northern Hemisphere so it should bring a smile to people's faces.

The seventh Taylor Swift album will also be her longest one to date as it will feature a total of 18 songs. Much like her previous work, the album will also have many special editions for fans to collect.

The album has a more happy attitude compared to the black and white mood of her last album called 'Reputation'.

Swift is more happier now than before and she is also using her famous stature to speak out about many political issues that plague the world right now.

Aside from the new album announcement, you can also listen to her new song called 'You Need To Calm Down' which has been released via YouTube and other streaming services.

This is the second single following the song 'Me' where she sings alongside Brendon Urie from Panic at the Disco'.

Anyway, you can listen to the new single via the YouTube video posted below. We will also try to review her full album when it releases later this year. Hopefully it's as good as her previous work!
