Hot Toys Unveils Groot And Rocket Figures In Avengers: Infinity War

Even though the movie is called Avengers: Infinity War, the other MCU characters will finally be joined by the Guardians of the Galaxy. This includes the popular non-human duo of Groot and also Rocket. 

Hot Toys is releasing the pair as action figures based on their appearance in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War movie. Hot Toys made the announcement on their official Facebook page and the detailed description is posted below. 

"Today, Hot Toys is delighted to present the 1/6th scale collectible set of Groot and Rocket from Marvel’s forthcoming film Avengers: Infinity War.

The newly developed Groot is expertly crafted based on his appearance in the film, featuring a finely sculpted head with 2 interchangeable face sculpts, impressive paint application on his body reflecting his distinctive appearance, blaster rifle, handheld game console and a movie-themed figure stand with movie logo.

The movie- accurate Rocket is specially crafted based on his unique physique in the film, it features a newly painted head portraying his roaring expression with remarkable likeness, specially tailored combat suit, interchangeable hands and feet, all-new highly detailed blaster rifle, and a specially designed movie-themed figure with movie logo."

If you did not know already, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn recently confirmed the original Groot actually died in the first film.

The Groot we see now is his son and he's grown up to be a teenager in Infinity War.

Anyway, the figures are sure to be released in the near future. Hot Toys is also releasing figures for Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow and more characters. 

Avengers: Infinity War now releases in North America on April 27th, 2018. It's the third Avengers film and will be the biggest movie release in 2018.
