Disney continues their dominant performances at the box office with The Jungle Book which topped the domestic and worldwide box office.

The Jungle Book is getting rave reviews and notches another successful button in Disney's belt. The success of The Jungle Book builds upon that of Zootopia which was yet another big hit for Disney.

"Disney proves once again that the jungle is where audiences around the world wanted to spend their time as 'The Jungle Book' dominates at the multiplex this weekend with a bear-sized $156.8 million and pushes this pre-summer season hit film to over the half billion mark through Sunday," according to comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian.

"Notably, Universal's 'The Huntsman: Winter's War' had its North American debut and in combination with the international cumulative box office to date of $80.2 million pushed its total to just over $100 million globally."
