This year Jimmy Kimmel has the task of hosting the 2016 Emmy Awards and he stopped by the Howard Stern SiriusXM radio show to talk preparation and much more.

Kimmel is a huge fan of the Stern Show and happens to be good friends with Stern.

It's really no surprise that Kimmel stopped by the Stern Show to chat about his upcoming hosting position for the 2016 Emmy. Kimmel told Stern that the upcoming Emmy Award show is actually stressful for him.

He stated that the summer was usually when he got to have some down time, however, it kind of ruined it. Kimmel is not excited for it but he said he would do it.

Stern wanted to know what the hardest part of hosting the show was and Kimmel said wrangling everyone was difficult, the timing and the fact that you really have to make sure the material is strong. He said everything has to be precise but he doesn't test it because he is worried people would post the jokes online.

Kimmel also told Stern that you need to have a lot of back up options.

He joked that he could give an Emmy to Stern as he will have access to them. Kimmel seems to be hoping that the host isn't unfairly credited for the show.

Meanwhile, Kimmel took a few questions from Wendy the Slow Adult.

She asked him what he does when he is not on the show and what he liked to do when he is at work. She also asked what his favorite Nightmare on Elm Street movie was.

Wendy wasn't the only one who had some questions for Kimmel, he also took questions from Bobo.

You can check out some of the highlights from Kimmel's visit to the Stern Show in the audio below and catch him hosting the 2016 Emmy Awards on September 18.
