The Suicide Squad film is one of the most highly anticipated releases for 2016 and the most buzz seems to be surrounding Jared Leto as The Joker.

Leto has been staying in character during filming and Howard Stern says he would be weirded out by that.

Earlier in the week Stern and Claire Danes were talking about Leto who was her co-star on My So-Called Life.

Stern then reported that said Leto has been experiencing a lot of success pointing out that Leto will be the new Joker for the Suicide Squad film.

"Howard said Will says for 6 months they never exchanged a word outside of action and cut," according to MarksFriggin, as he referred to Will Smith, who plays Deadshot in the film.

"He said he was in character the whole time. Robin asked if he can imagine how obnoxious he'd be like that.

Howard said some actors have to do that to get the job done. Howard said he can't imagine him playing the part and not saying hello."

Stern reported that he heard Leto sent Margot Robbie a box with a rat in it and bullets to Will Smith with a letter and also sent the cast a video and a dead hog, according to MarksFriggin.

"Howard said he did a movie of his own life and he didn't stay in character for that. Howard said he didn't know any bette," according to the report.

"Howard said he would be really weirded out by someone who is in character all the time."

The Suicide Squad film is scheduled to be released on August 5, 2016. You can check out the trailer for the film below.
