Hurricane Harvey has sadly raged the city of Houston this week and a lot of people have been affected by its wrath.

To help with the recovery, celebrities like Dwayne Johnson and more are donating lots of money to aid those that need assistance.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson announced he is donating money on his official Instagram page. Johnson is donating $25,000 and several of his companies are pitching in too.

He urges many other people to at least donate a dollar or two if you can spare some extra change. You can read his comment down below.

Stay strong Houston and hold onto faith. Me and my family know what you're going thru. We survived the eye of Andrew and became stronger - so will you. All my love and strength. You can donate a buck or two to our Houston families in need.

Johnson's co-star in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Kevin Hart, is also donating $25,000 to help those in need.

Again, he's encouraging fans to try and donate what they can. Fans don't have to donate as much money as the celebrities, but every contribution helps.

Kim Kardashian West is also contributing money to the relief efforts towards Hurricane Harvey. She and her family members are donating a combined $500,000 to help those in need.

She announced her contribution over on Twitter. She said: "Houston we are praying for you! My mom, sisters & I will be donating $500,000 to @redcross and @salvationarmyus today #HoustonStrong".

Other celebrities are also helping including the likes of Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Chris Young, Demi Lovato and many more. It's great to see people helping those that need it.
