Brock Lesnar is unlike many other wrestlers in WWE because he gets paid a lot of money just to appear in the company on a part-time basis.

Initially people thought Brock Lesnar was leaving WWE to go back to the UFC, but it looks like he's sticking to being a professional wrestler for the time being.

It was originally thought that Brock Lesnar wanted to go back to UFC after he lost the Universal Title to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2018.

However now Roman Reigns is taking a sabbatical, so Lesnar is back as Universal Champion and this could stay that way for another long time.

MMAFighting.com has heard details that Brock Lesnar did indeed sign an extension to his WWE contract to appear in WWE until at least April 2019. This should include appearances at Royal Rumble and of course WrestleMania 35.

Brock Lesnar is still allowed to fight in the UFC, but his chances of coming back to the MMA octagon looks iffy with his current WWE contract.

It might not give him enough time to train to face Daniel Cormier if Lesnar has to save his body for wrestling events instead.

Daniel Cormier originally wanted to face Brock Lesnar in a special UFC fight before he turns to the age of 40 in March 2019.

With Lesnar staying in WWE during this time, this could mean Cormier may have to fight Jon Jones instead in his last MMA fight before he retires at 40 years old.

For now, Brock Lesnar is still the current Universal Champion and his next opponent will be AJ Styles at Survivor Series 2018.
