Zoe Kravitz, daughter of acclaimed actress Lisa Bonet and rockstar Lenny Kravitz, has long been a staple on the celebrity scene.
But even though she's been heralded as a style icon, this young woman has also been quite politically active and taken a stand not only on this year's election cycle but also ongoing current events.
Zoe Kravitz and the Dakota Pipeline
Zoe Kravitz, much like Shailene Woodley, rallied to protest the building of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Zoe Kravitz joined forces with Standing Rock to try to keep construction of the pipeline from taking place.
The concern about the pipeline has been that the it threatens the water supply of the Native American tribes as well as millions of residents who live along its path.
Despite the starlet's best efforts, as yet, there has been no decision made on whether construction of the pipeline will in fact gain approval.
Still, Zoe has persisted, providing extensive guidance to her loyal social media following on how to take further action.
Zoe Kravitz and the Bernie Sanders Campaign
Like many millennials, Zoe Kravitz joined the grassroots effort to make Bernie Sanders the Democratic contender for president. Kravitz fought long and hard, attending rallies in support of Kravtiz, promoting her support of his campaign, and repeatedly encouraging her Instagram and social media followers to vote for Bernie.
Although she did not succeed in helping to elect him as the Democratic nominee, Kravitz continues to make her political beliefs about the presidency known. As an example, she recently posted this about Trump's election:
