Will JD Harmeyer Propose to His Girlfriend?

One of the running topics on the Howard Stern Show is JD Harmeyer's mystical girlfriend. No one knows her name, or what she looks like, but JD insists that she does, in fact, exists.

Stern, who is surprised that JD could find and keep a girlfriend, assumed he'd be popping the question at this point in the game.

But the other day on the after show, JD admitted that he is not looking to get married, and doesn't consider it to be necessary. Maybe he'll do it for the legal reasons.

"If I'm in the hospital and I'm dying, there are only certain people that can be let through," he said.

But overall, he doesn't feel that he's even ready to think about marriage until the next phase of his career is squared away.

"I'm not entirely sure [what's next], but I know I don't want to be in radio after this," JD told Stern on the Stern Show Tuesday morning.

He's considering going in to the film production industry, and Stern acted as mentor, telling JD he ought to start developing his skills now, and reminding him about his competition.

"Why don't you write a script for me? Start with that!" Stern told him.

Though JD doesn't consider himself much of a writer. Perhaps when he figures out what he wants to do with himself, he'll figure out whether or not he wants to get married.

JD has been dating his girlfriend for a few months now, and the topic comes up on the Show every once in a while.

Most recently, Amy Poehler addressed her concerns about the show broadcasting their thoughts and opinions on JD's girlfriend because it could be harmful this early in their relationship.

We guess we'll have to wait and see.
