Comedian Whitney Cummings had fans feeling nostalgic after posting a "Throwback Thursday" from her cancelled sitcom "Whitney."

Cummings posted a screenshot from the episode "Sex, Lies and Alibis," where Chris D'Elia's character was faking it in bed.

The screenshot also sported the caption, "You were faking it? Guys can do that?" Upon posting the photo to Twitter and Instagram fans began commenting about how much they missed the show and the fact that the remember the episode.

"The network eventually removed "Whitney" from the fall schedule altogether, instead saving it to plug any sitcom holes left by possible freshman failures," said the HuffingtonPost.com.

"'Whitney' ended up pinch-hitting on Wednesday nights after "Animal Practice" was axed, but the second season never quite found its footing, ending its shortened order in March with less than 3 million viewers.'

Cummings also said she knew her show was in trouble according to the HuffingtonPost.com. "'I knew we were in trouble when I was watching the show ...

And the three chairs from 'The Voice' come up [and] fill the whole screen and then they flip around and it's Christina Aguilera, or Shakira. Same difference,'" Cummings said according to the article.

As unfortunate as the cancellation was Cummings may find comfort in the fact that her fans and viewers really did enjoy the show and push for it's return though that may be far from a possibility.
