She may be one of the funniest comedians and pretty easy on the eyes but Whitney Cummings is no stranger to the limelight as she snaps a selfie with Taraji P. Henson of "Empire," the new hit show on Fox.

Yesterday Cummings posted her selfie with Henson three times on Twitter, accompanied with the cookie emoji alluding to Henson's powerful character on "Empire." She also tagged Lee Daniels, the creator of "Empire," in the original Instagram post of the photo.

Daniels is currently in the spotlight after Mo'Nique broke news that she was originally supposed to play the part of Cookie on "Empire."

Aside from her celebrity run-ins, Cummings is an animal lover and has often promoted animal adoption on all of her social media outlets. In her humorous post below, Cummings poses with a lovable golden retriever and jokes about becoming the Joker when coming into contact with a dog.

She also used the hashtag #adoptdontshop, one that is frequently used throughout her social media photos where animals, more specifically dogs are concerned.

Apparently when I see a dog I turn into the joker #adoptdontshop

Cummings dedicated her last "woman crush wednesday" to Nikki Reed, actress and fiance of "The Vampire Diaries" Ian Somerhalder.

The caption of the photo read, "#wcw @iamnikkireed and @beaglefreedom for going to the state Capitol yesterday and getting a law passed that requires labs to put beagles who have been tested on up for adoption instead of killing them.

Schwing!"

So far Cummings has been using her fame to push very positive messages while remaining as hilarious as ever, check out some more of her #adoptdontshop posts below.
