Deepwater Horizon star Kate Hudson stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she chatted about her first concert experience and showed off her own voice, singing "Hold On."

For most people their first concert experience brings back memories of the artist they were watching and how much fun it was to see a live show. For Kate Hudson, it was a certain smell that helps her remember her first concert experience.

Hudson told Fallon she was about six when she went to her first concert. She went to see The Pointer Sisters and remembered a funny odor.

When she asked her mom what it was, her mother simply replied, "nothing." Hudson was trying to figure out what the smell was and said it was like foreshadowing into her teenage years. Her 10-year-old brother said "that's weed," and somehow it was all clear now.

Meanwhile, Hudson shared another one of her talents with The Tonight Show which was captured during a commercial break.

Hudson and Fallon started talking about his first concert experience which happened to be En Vogue. During the discussion Hudson began singing "Hold On" by En Vogue.

Her voice was pretty awesome and she said she was pretty obsessed with En Vogue. The Roots helped out by dropping the beat and Fallon began delivering a few old school dance moves.
