December
December in Vianden can be very chilly, somewhat rainy and extremely stormy. The average overnight temperatures in the area are in the low 30s F (single digits C), with a few days below 20 F (single digits below 0 C). It tends to rain about half of the time. It also snows sometimes. But the colder weather doesn't bring low humidity, which is in the 80% to 90% range on average.
What to wear/what to pack:
Clothes + Footwear
Jacket or coat
Fleece
Extra socks
Light gloves or mittens
Warm pants or jeans
Lip balm
In our opinion, the best choice: this
Sneakers or comfortable shoes
Rain poncho
A high quality rain poncho to wear over your coat will help avoid loads of aggrevation by protecting your main jacket. We like this one.
Stormy weather makes rubber rain boots a must. These boots work well for stormy weather:
An umbrella

These pants can be a lifesaver in heavy rain.

Airplane phone mount
Make your flight more comfortable with an airplane phone mount
Voltage step down adapter
A plug adapter that supports outlet types C and F. Check that you choose the necessary type. Most adapters available online are simply plug changers and require your devices to convert the voltage themselves. If yours can't do that they could burn up. This one should be appropriate for most areas.
Power bank for devices
A portable power bank, like this one

Our favorite is this one
