What to do in Tatev, Armenia
Tatev is a small village in the southern region of Armenia, which has become increasingly popular among tourists for its stunning natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. With so many unique and fascinating sights to explore in Tatev, it can be hard to choose where to go first. Here is a list of the top tourist attractions that you should not miss in Tatev.
1. Tatev Monastery
The most famous and iconic attraction in Tatev is the Tatev Monastery, a 9th-century Armenian Apostolic monastery that sits on a plateau overlooking the Vorotan River. It is known for its breathtaking architecture, intricate stone carvings, and ornate frescoes. It is also famous for its "Wings of Tatev," the longest reversible cable car in the world, which provides a stunning aerial view of the surrounding countryside.
2. Devil's bridge
