Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Recap: Cheadle, Bosworth, and Lecrae

On the docket tonight is actor Don Cheadle, actress Kate Bosworth, and Christian rap artist Lecrae.

First up is actor Don Cheadle who is promoting the newest season of his hit on Showtime House of Lies. In which he has received his fourth Golden Globe nomination. Both Jimmy and Cheadle get down and do a little song and dance bit.

As discussed Cheadle one time was a backup dancer in a music video. Fallon gave the actor a chance to relive those memories.

In fact the two did a throwback performance to the days of America's Power Hour which filmed in the same studio. Enter "Pleather and Jerry."

House of Lies is coming back for a 4th season. The show also features Frozen star Kristen Bell.

Back in 2011 Cheadle won the Golden Globe for his performance. It has been a hit ever since and the show is now coming back for its 4th season.

Every single episode brings a newcomer and the show is focused around this guest actor or actress. A great show first off but also a place to discover new and possibly recently unheard of talent.

T.I. and Daniel Stern are great examples from last season.

Tis' the season for awards and Kate Bosworth is also promoting a nominated piece of work. Still Alice stars Julianne Moore and is out on January 16th.

Another Golden Globe nomination for Julianne Moore adding to a total of 8 now.

Bosworth may not have any at this point but this film is certainly going to get attention. Maybe now with her appearance she will finally start getting some recognition.

Preforming tonight is Lecrae a Grammy Nominated gospel rap artist. He is the only musician in history to have a album to reach number 1 on the Christian charts while at the same time being on the Billboard 200.

Certainly Lecrae is an Anomaly, also the title of his latest studio album. Not enough attention is given to the soulful rappers now a days. It is nice to see one preforming on a show like Fallon's.

As per usual Fallon wrote his weekly thank you notes. A long running tradition that is featured on the show every Friday. Tune in 1130 pm eastern time on NBC for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
