The Young Turks' Cenk Uygur debated Donald Trump with former Clinton confidant (and now anti-Clinton crusader) Dick Morris again this week.

Last time the two spoke, the interview broke down into an argument, and Dick Morris walked out. The outcome this time was even more surprising.

Dick Morris and The Young Turks' Cenk Uygur have been at odds for years. Ever since their original interview, Uygur and Morris have been hurling attacks at each other online.

So it was pretty surprising that Morris was willing to go on The Young Turks for an interview/debate with Cenk about Donald Trump.

It was expected that given Morris' support for Trump, he and Cenk would have a lot to argue about.

As a close confidant of Bill Clinton, Dick Morris became a high-ranking adviser during Clinton's time as governor of Arkansas, as well as Clinton's time as president. However, Morris left in disgrace because he had let a prostitute listen in to private White House discussions.

After that, Morris turned on Clinton, and has since been one of the most outspoken anti-Clinton forces in the media. He is now a Republican.

Here are a few clips of Cenk Uygur discussing Dick Morris in past episodes of The Young Turks:

So what happened when The Young Turks Cenk Uygur and Dick Morris met again?

Surprisingly, the discussion went very smoothly, with Cenk Uygur and Dick Morris agreeing on many (if not most) points.

Uygur and Morris discussed issues like money in politics, the loss of localized power (and transfer to international elites), corruption, and war -- and they agreed on most of it.

Morris acknowledged that he was wrong about the Iraq wars, and the two came near agreement on energy issues and free trade.

In the end, the two had this interesting exchange:

Dick Morris: I don't think there has ever been (in recent months) on television a discussion like we just had...and the ground we plowed, and the ground we explored and looked at. And in fact, we can take it and use it as a governing philosophy.
...
Cenk Uygur: I have to say I'm not sure I've ever been as surprised about an interview as this. About a decade ago you walked out on us, and here we've had surprising amount of agreement.
...
Disk Morris: As I look back on it and I now judge that...my substantive contentions were 70% wrong and 30% right and yours were the reverse...One of the problems in politics is we never concede when we're wrong.
