Surfer Blood and We Are Scientists have both shared new tracks ahead of their joint "Splatter Analysis" U.S. tour. The two songs will appear on a tour-exclusive split 7-inch record.

??Surfer Blood hails from West Palm Beach Florida. It's debut single, "Swim," was named the 37th best song of 2009 by Pitchfork. Both their debut album, Astro Coast, and its follow-up, 2013's Pythons, were met with critical acclaim.??

We Are Scientists are a New York-based indie/post-punk band. Their latest album, TV en Francais, was released March 3rd through 100% Recordings and charted at #5 on the Indie Billboard Chart and at #36 on the UK Charts.

??In a press release regarding the tour, Chris Cain of We Are Scientists stated: "W.A.S. and Surfer Blood: this is one of those pairings that people are going to remember fondly for decades. Other examples? E.T. and Elliot. Ferraris and the color red. Jetpacks and gravity. It really is a hell of a bill."

??The tour kicks off on October 1st in Boston.
