The National revealed via Twitter that Sufjan Stevens will be joining them for their sets in Madrid and Bilbao, Spain this coming weekend.???

??The National's latest, Trouble Will Find, was released on 4AD Records on May 21, 2013 and sold around 75,000 copies in its first week to land at #3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.

??The band was also the subject of a recent documentary, Mistaken for Strangers, filmed by frontman Matt Beringer's brother, Tom Beringer.

The Washington Post described Mistaken for Stangers as "funny, eccentric, and finally deeply poignant depiction of art, family, self-sabotage, and the prickly intricacies of brotherly love."

??In a Gigwise interview that took place last June, Beringer said the band would begin work on the follow-up to Trouble Will Find Me in October and promised that the new album would see the band taking a "different approach."???

"We're talking about getting together, which won't be until about October, taking a little break and then getting together to try and write together in a room - which we've never done. We always work on little things and email back and forth.

We have no idea whether it's going to work or not, but that's as far as we've got with the new record: trying to work out a plan and a different approach.

That might fail miserably, but then we'll try it a different way."
