Stephen Colbert Spoofs Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's Apology to Australia

By now the internet is buzzing about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's apology video to Australia, well, Stephen Colbert had some points of his own he wanted to point out in his apology to Australia.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were forced to issue and apology video to Australia for sneaking their dogs Pistol and Boo into the country without declaring them.

According to Australian law, this act could earn you up to 10 years in prison. They were let off the hook but not without a public apology for not following Australian declaration laws.

Depp and Heard's apology was posted to the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources' official YouTube channel and already has a view count of nearly 4 million.

"Ms Amber Heard appeared in the Southport Magistrates Court in Queensland on 18 April 2016 to answer charges alleging the illegal importation of her two dogs into Australia in April 2015," according to the caption of the video.

"Ms Heard pleaded guilty to one count of producing a false document (her Incoming Passenger Card). Ms Heard also offered to publicly state her contrition with the support of her husband - this video is that statement."

So, naturally Colbert wanted to address the situation with an apology video of his own. He said that he was truly touched by the video and realized he had a couple of things he wanted to apologize for as well.
