Thanks to some heavy snooping by TMZ, new images have surfaced of the spooky setting for season six of American Horror Story.

The photos show a very scary looking haunted house and more village settings that could possibly confirm the Roanoke mystery as the plot.

"TMZ has learned the 'AHS' crew secretly hammered away for 4 straight months to construct the Colonial-style house.

It's not just a front ... we're told it's fully furnished and they're currently shooting some scenes inside and around it," according to a recent report.

"Our spies tell us the home -- which is tucked away in a California forest -- will serve as the main set for the upcoming season which, as we first reported ... will have some connection with the colonial Roanoke mystery."

The photos in the tweet below show the old Colonial styled home that is quite distressed. The overall setting and the quality of the photos also adds a ton of stirring effects to the scene.

There is no telling how much further Ryan Murphy will be able to push the horror for AHS.

After last season's haunted hotel back story and the previous season's freak show, fans are really hoping for something that can out-do what was two of the best seasons thus far.

You can check out the photos in the tweet below. Season six of American Horror Story kicks off on September 14.
