Skizzy Mars, Halsey, A$AP TyY, Sleeping At Last & Troy Ave Top Billboard's Emerging Artists Chart

This week the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart is filled with talent once again as Skizzy Mars, Halsey, A$AP TyY, Sleeping At Last & Troy Ave grace the chart's top five.

Coming in at number one is Skizzy Mars and his track "Time" featuring G-Eazy and Olivver The Kid. All verses on this track are pretty high quality.

Skizzy Mars laid down a hot verse and some did G-Eazy with a beautiful but simple hook by Olivver The Kid to bring it all together.

The track is featured on Skizzy Mars' "The Red Balloon Project" now available on iTunes.

In at number two on the ever changing Billboard Emerging Artists Chart is Halsey and her haunting song titled, "Hurricane." The song tells an interesting story of a girl who belongs to "no city or no man." Along the way Halsey tells a story starting in Bedford-Stuyvesant and then moving on to Brooklyn.

The overall sound is pretty intoxicating and can be found on Halsey's "Room 93" EP available on iTunes.

Today one of the A$AP Mob's rising stars A$AP TyY paid tribute to A$AP Yams the recently fallen member of the hip-hop crew. "Chamber Lock," features a recording of Yams an some pretty dark lyrics by TyY. The song has been released in anticipation for his upcoming mixtape that is scheduled to be released this spring.

Next on the list is Troy Ave and his remix of Usher and Juicy J's "I Don't Mind." The song is an ode to the lifestyle of a stripper as Usher sings that he doesn't mind if a woman dances on a pole.

Ave also shares the sentiment and raps that he'd like to shine alongside his woman. The beat is very catchy and features some stellar lyrics from Usher.

Sleeping At Last rounds out the top five of the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart with the famous cover of "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)." The song got a huge boost after being featured in the Budweiser Super Bowl commercial last weekend.

Ryan O'Neal did an outstanding job with the cover that is available on iTunes, turning it into something heartfelt and beautiful.
