Los Angeles producer and DJ Destructo has inked a deal with Insomniac Records/Interscope Records, the new label recently formed by Insomniac and Interscope Geffen A&M. The June 16 release of his new track "Party Up" featuring YG will appear on his WEST COAST EP due out later this summer.

For the follow-up of his Higher EP, Destructo takes on a new sound called "G-house" that merges deep house grooves with smooth rap flows.

Fans caught their first taste of "Party Up" via the HOLY SHIP!!! 2014 Official Recap Video and now it will be available this summer for download via Beatport.
Destructo's association with YG is a welcome one.

His bootleg remix earlier this year with Wax Motif of YG's buzzworthy track "My N***a" earned the respect of such tastemaker outlets in the hip-hop and dance community including XXL, Life+Times, Earmilk and Dancing Astronaut, to name a few.

Meanwhile, Destructo has announced phase one of his WEST COAST World Tour. The party kicks off tonight, June 5 in Portland where for the first time northwest area fans will get a listen to Destructo's brand new set, jam packed with his favorite cuts and original productions including "Party Up feat. YG".

Other stops on the WEST COAST World Tour include North American dates in June hitting Vancouver, Calgary, Los Angeles, New York and Boston with festival plays at Electric Forest in Michigan and Digital Dreams in Toronto.

In July, Destructo takes the tour internationally with stops in Paris, EDC UK in London, Ibiza and Barcelona.

Next, he will return to the States for slots at HARD Red Rocks in Colorado and HARD SUMMER in Los Angeles, with the leg to finish in Tokyo.

Destructo(Gary Richards) is also the founder of HARD Events--the world-renowned event and festival company recognized for landmark festivals such as HARD SUMMER, HARD Day of the Dead and the three-day electronic music cruise HOLY SHIP! He has been included on the "50 Most Important People in EDM" list by Rolling Stonetwice, InTheMix's "50 Most Powerful People in EDM" list and Do Androids Dance's "20 Most Influential People in EDM" list.

"I'm proud to sign an artist that has been involved in the dance music culture since the beginning, very few have had careers with such longevity and continued success," said Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac and co-founder of Insomniac Records.

"His new EP is so impressive, it has a unique sound that is all his own."
