While he saw his friend and former teammate Kobe Bryant join him in retirement last night, Shaq (Shaquille O'Neal) visited the Ellen DeGeneres show to talk about his own achievements including the recent induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame.

DeGeneres welcomed Shaq to the show and he made his way out by getting down with DeGeneres for a dance. She told Shaq that she was worried they wouldn't have a chair big enough to hold him because he's a giant.

Shaq responded by asking to look at DeGeneres for a second and confessing his love for her.

He said he had been wanting to appear on the show for three years and DeGeneres said he could come any time he wanted.

Shaq spoke about Kobe Bryant's retirement and said that he's going to be bored. He said that the following day after his retirement, it was weird for him because he had nothing to do. He joked that he would just wake up, stand by the window and watch birds fly by.

Shaq said if it wasn't for TNT calling him, he'd probably still be at home.

DeGeneres asked Shaq if he had a hobby but he replied by saying he didn't really have one and he likes to sit at home and watch her show along with others.

Shaq has been inducted into the Hall of Fame and he says he wishes his dad could have been there to share the moment. Shaq says he wants to have Julius "Dr.

J" Irving to induct him into the Hall of Fame and like magic DeGeneres had Dr. J come out to surprise Shaq. You can check out Shaq and Ellen DeGeneres' interview in the video below.
