The Interview is about two journalists who find themselves in over their heads as they go to North Korea to interview Kim Jong-un. The CIA soon approaches them--adding a wrinkle to their job.

But they intend to do the interview in order to get credit as legitimate journalists.

Rogen co-stars the film with James Franco, who plays his business partner.

The film has generated controversy. As such, the film was edited in order to minimize a possible backlash.

"According to THR," The Collider reported, "Sony 'is digitally altering thousands of buttons worn by characters in the film because they depict the actual hardware worn by the North Korean military to honor the country's leader, Kim Jong Un, 31, and his late father, Kim Jong Il (showcasing military decorations would be considered blasphemous to the nuclear-armed nation).' That's how crazy you can be when you have nukes: You can make people spend time and money in order to hide buttons."

The Interview premieres in theaters on December 25. But an early of the screening of film may be possible if you live in Los Angeles. For more about The Interview, visit the film's official website here.
