Sarah Paulson Tells Ellen DeGeneres She Had Tequila Shots with Marcia Clark

While she was known for her creepy roles in the American Horror Story series, Sarah Paulson is now gaining a ton of attention for her role as Marcia Clark in American Crime Story: The People V.S. O.J. Simpson.
Paulson recently stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres show to share how she prepared for her role as the prosecutor trying to convict O.J. Simpson of killing his wife Nicole and it involved tequila. She revealed that she actually met Marcia Clark before they began filming American Crime Story: The People V.S. O.J. Simpson. DeGeneres said that this must be the best thing that has ever happened to Clark and Paulson said she is getting a lot of attention now.
"The greatest thing about it is that she is getting attention that was probably due hers at the time," said Paulson, "People were really believing what was being fed to them that she was a kind of shrew ambitious b*tch."
"All of the words that you would use to describe Marcia, if you described a man that way would be positives and if you describe a woman that way it's a pejorative."
DeGeneres pointed out that Clark was in the tabloid for no reason and Paulson said she had to deal with naked photos of her surfacing as well. Paulson did have the chance to meet Clark and said she drank a lot of tequila with her.
Paulson said it was really fun and Clarks mole kept moving all over her face after a couple of shots.
She also said that she was very excited to meet her because she had been reading a lot of books on Clark as part of research for the character.
Paulson said that seeing Clark was like seeing someone she idolized or had a crush on for her whole life. She says that Clark is watching and the prospect is probably less horrible than she thought it would be.
DeGeneres actually told Paulson that she would love to have Clark on the show because she thinks she is amazing and if we know DeGeneres, that might be pretty easy to pull off.
Paulson is now being recognized by celebrities like Cher who tweeted happy birthday.
