Tarantino said that Disney threatened to remove the Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens film from all ArcLight Cinemas if they were allowed to run the film for an entire month.

"When owners of the Cinerama Dome, ArcLight Cinemas, tried to tell Disney they planned on honoring their contract and would be showing 'Hateful Eight,' Disney, according to Tarantino, threatened to pull 'Star Wars' from all ArcLight locations," according to the Stern Show.

Tarantino wanted to make it clear that he loves J.J. Abrams and did not have an issue with him, however, he is upset over Disney's move.

So far Disney has not released a comment on the move however, Stern assured Tarantino that it would be resolved.

"Howard asked Tarantino to step back for a moment and let him handle it as Bob Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, is an avid listener of the Stern Show," according to Howard Stern's web page.

Stern issued a message to Iger and also said that Abrams, the director of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, is also a fan of the show and is sure to catch whim of the news.

Meanwhile, Tarantino offered his defense of the comments that he made at the anti-police brutality rally.

"He said if you talk to black folks they'll say it didn't just start. He said it's just disgusting.

He said at some point you think that it'll get so bad that it'll set people off. He said that this has to stop and they have to stop killing people."

Tarantino told Stern that he didn't believe all cops were murderers and that he was in all of his right to say what he did.

He did move forward to say that he didn't know it would be misinterpreted the way that it was.
