In a new teaser post from Netflix, the company has announced that there will be a Punisher series following the introduction of the character in season two of Daredevil.

"One batch, two batch, penny and dime," here he comes. Jon Bernthal will be reprising his role as the Punisher in a new Netflix and Marvel series. Bernthal received a ton of praise after portraying The Punisher in grand fashion.

"The decision to launch a new series with the Punisher makes sense," according to Variety.

"Apart from both Daredevil and Jessica Jones receiving strong reviews from critics in the last year, Bernthal's performance as Frank Castle was praised by critics for its rawness.

There's no word yet on when the series will premiere, but expect Castle to make his return at some point in the next few years."

Now, Netflix is continuing to ramp up their Marvel series' by having Bernthal give some more of that classic grit and rawness in his very own Punisher series.

In the 25 second teaser, you can hear Bernthal recite the rhyme and once you get to the end, there is your surprise.

The company also replaced their Twitter avi with a new logo for the show. Are you excited to see The Punisher in his very own show? Let us know in the comments section below.
