Simon Cowell may be famous for being a jerk as a reality show judge but as a father he's coming up aces.

The TV personality -- who produces England's X-Factor and has made tens of millions of dollars -- will be leaving his fortune to his newborn son.

Of course, the 54-year-old may be using wishful thinking when he projects that the four-month-old, whom he had with his girlfriend Lauren Silverman, will follow his career path by taking over his TV and music company Syco when he grows up, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Cowell also said that he would not upset if his son decided to sing. Of course, he also said he would not hesitate to tell him if he wasn't very good.

Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, he said: "If Eric wants to try out being a singer, I would be okay with that. I certainly won't stop him.

But I'll tell him straight if he can't do it. Admittedly, I might not be quite as blunt as I am with some of the contestants."
