'The Originals' Daniel Gillies And Phoebe Tonkin Bring The Intensity Back Between Hayley & Elijah

With the mid-season premiere of "The Originals" just weeks away a photo surfaced on a Daniel Gillies Instagram page (not his official page).
The post showed an intense photo on the set of the show featuring Phoebe Tonkin and baby Hope.
Gillies plays Elijah the supposed level-headed brother of Klaus (Joseph Morgan). Elijah and Hayley, Tonkin's character exchanged a heated emotional farewell in the sense that she would now have to marry someone else for the safety of her child, Hope.
The Instagram post shows Elijah and Hayley staring into each others eyes as baby Hope is held in the middle.
The looks that the two are exchanging says it all about what fans can expect in the second half of season three.
Thus far this has been one of the most intense seasons of the show and bringing back all of the Mikaelson clan certainly helps push it over the top.
The post though not an official one from Gillies, is surely one to get fans excited for the new season of "The Originals."
Character dynamics are all over the place and it keeps the fans guessing as to what will go wrong next.
The idea of family that is stressed not only by the characters but by the cast after the cameras stop rolling really gives the fans something positive to take away from the show.
"The Originals" is scheduled to makes it return on January 19.
