The Nostalgia Critic will be reviewing Matrix movies throughout January 2015--a film franchise notorious for gradually deteriorating in quality with each subsequent installment.

Calling the event "Matrix Month," it will begin on January 6, when he will release his review of the first movie in the franchise.

On January 13, he will release his review of The Animatrix--a collection of anime shorts based on the films. On January 20, he will review The Matrix Reloaded. And it will conclude on January 27, when he will review The Matrix Revolutions.

He announced the event and the dates of his reviews in his latest review of Care Bears Nutcracker.

The Critic has done themed months before; last year he did "Nicolas Cage Month," when he reviewed infamous films starring the over-actor: Face/Off, The Wicker Man, and Ghost Rider.

In addition, he just finished an entire month of Christmas-themed movies, including: A Christmas Story 2, Care Bears Nutcracker, and Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer.

If you want to see the Critic tackle one of the biggest hits from the previous decade, tune in this month. For more about the Nostalgia Critic, visit his official website here.
