When Kanye West previewed his Yeezy Season 3 apparel and more importantly The Life of Pablo album fans went wild. However, he also faced a lot of criticism over some lyrics on "Famous" that referred to Taylor Swift.
"I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ I made that bitch famous," rapped Kanye in his track "Famous."
The track was played for the sold out Madison Square Garden crowd who wanted to get a peek at Kanye's new line and listen to the coveted album. Kanye went on to continue his statements on Twitter claiming that he spoke to Swift for an hour and she was okay with the lyrics contrary to other reports.
He continues to say that he spoke to a mutual friend and that Swift actually said, "I can't be mad at Kanye because he made me famous," adding an exclamation mark and #FACTS. Kanye went on the defense and said that he was being demonized and compromised as an artist.
I did not diss Taylor Swift and I've never dissed her...

Swift's brother took swift action and trashed a pair of Kanye's sneakers after getting word of the lyrics and made it public for all to see on Instagram. There have been counter reports everywhere but until Swift issues a statement of her own we won't know if there is any merit to the recent Twitter rant.
The event was livestreamed from Tidal so it was easily the talk of the internet when Kanye played the track. You can check out the full Twitter message from Kanye below.
